OUR STORY

Founded in 1966 by Richard Trombley, Trombley Industries began as a contracting business, specializing in utility work, heavy road construction, and site development. Over the years, the company has grown steadily, driven by a commitment to quality, reliability, and community.

In 1981, our aggregate plant was constructed along with the addition of a ready-mix concrete plant in Limestone, Maine. 10 years later in 1991, our asphalt plant was constructed, marking the beginning of our paving operations. In 1999, a quarry was opened to supply crushed aggregates to surrounding areas, strengthening our material supply capabilities.

In 2013, almost 50 years after Richard founded Trombley Industries, his sons, Craig and Jason, expanded the family business by launching a new company, Trombley Redi-Mix, and acquiring two additional ready-mix concrete plants in Presque Isle and Frenchville.

Today, with a fleet of over 25 concrete trucks and a growing number of heavy equipment machinery, we proudly serve all of Aroostook County with ready-mix concrete, paving services, and a wide range of stone and gravel products.
